I am a retired university professor and an author of textbooks in health care and leadership. In 2010, I started my practice as a leadership coach helping women break the glass ceiling and fulfill their leadership and economic potential. During a conference call with my coaching colleagues, I had an insight. What would it be like to help women (and men) achieve a flourishing life through storytelling instead of another self-help book? I decided to take on the challenge! The result is a new novel tentatively titled 181 Blackhorse Road that is awaiting a literary agent and publisher who will fall head over heels in love with it. In the meantime, enjoy a few of my non-fiction books featured on my webpage.
I hail from Windsor, Ontario, Canada, grew up in Southern California, and I have lived almost from coast-to-coast in the United States: Seattle; San Diego; Alfred, NY; Columbus, OH; Birmingham, AL; Chicago and Woodstock, IL. I reside with my husband in the beautiful farmland and countryside of Northern Illinois that gives me the serenity and space for storytelling.
P.S. My booster is Jack. He is a handsome, mixed-breed dog with black and white fluffy fur, and is forty pounds of stress soother.
